Can Performing Save the World? is the theme of the biennial conference hold this year on October 4th - October 7th in New York City.
Performing the world brings a dynamic group of international experts together: social worker, health worker, therapists, educators, researchers, theater and performance artists, community and business leaders, and media creatives.
Center of the conference are lectures and discussions that are held simultaneously in up to nine locations and include talks such as: Performing Creative Diversities, Creating New Performances of Health Trough Theater, Secret of the Seasons: A Global Warming Co-Opera, and many more.
Every day workshops and performances invite to see performance for the good in action, e.g. with All Stars Talent Show Network Harlem Performance Workshop: Poverty, Performance and Pretending or the show Children of Killers.
